The BUCS championship is widely regarded as the pinnacle of British university football. All 12 teams from the Northern and Southern Premier divisions compete in a knockout tournament, consisting of four rounds, to crown Britain's university football champions. The final takes place during BUCS Big Wednesday where university finals, across all major sports leagues, are played.
